The science of life and of living organisms, including their structure, function, growth, origin, evolution, and distribution. It includes botany and zoology and all their subdivisions.

Bio means life, and 'logy' means study of. Biology is one of the many types of science, which is focused on the study of life and living things. It is where you learn about every type of life, no matter how big or small.
